loseweightstudy.com Lose Weight Study needs to know talking websites SUCK.

So there has been a lot of buzz about www.loseweightstudy.com today.  The search is lighting up for people searching for all forms of loseweightstudy.com.  I’ve noticed that these searches may be due to the recent advertising blitz that LoseWeightStudy has done on TV today.

The first thing that was negative to me was the talking man website.  This tactic is so 2000 and people hate it.  We’ve already heard about LoseWeightStudy.com from the TV that’s why we are there.  No need to blast our speakers with the same spiel the commercial gave us on TV.

Another thing I’ve noticed are the overwhelming weight loss programs and studies being advertised on TV and the net lately.  What makes loseweightstudy.com so special?  Well this study maybe free for overweight people if you qualify, that’s why.

So how does this site make money?  They make money from referrals.  LoseweightStudy .com is a helpful tool.  And if you are desperate to lose weight then you may give LoseweightStudy.com a try.  Just turn down your speakers.

www.indianbytes.com IndianBytes the Indian Digg. IndianBytes.com

It’s funny.  Sometimes the things you see on the web are quite hysterical.  I saw IndianBytes.com today.  www.IndianBytes.com bills itself as the “Indian” social bookmarking site.

IndianBytes is a cheap imitation of Digg.com.  IndianBytes.com is quite pathetic actually.  Indian Bytes.com is in English.  Ironic considering Hindi is the official language of India.  The Indian constitution recongnizes 22 languages and English only for “official” purposes.

IndianBytes.com is a dumb site of a stolen idea.  Indian Bytes won’t last long.

Yes We Can Song. Video for Barack Obama at YesWeCanSong.com

There is a new viral video making the rounds.  This one is hosted on www.dipdive.com.  The video is a pro-video for Barack Obama using various Hollywood celebrities.  The Yes We Can Song and video was produced by Will I. Am.

I found out about the website and video from a link called yeswecansong.com.  The domain www.yeswecansong.com forwards to another site called dipdive on which the video for Yes we can is hosted.

The song takes several of Barack Obama’s speeches and turns them into a nice song using Barack’s “Yes we can” motto.  A very inspirational video and song.  I suggest you check it out at Dipdive.com.

National Wear Red Day - February 1st Wear Red Day for Heart Disease.

So I found out that tomorrow, February first, is national wear read day.  I then read that National wear red day is for heart disease.  Then I read that national wear red day is for women with heart disease.  National wear red day is kind of disturbing for me.

So why is national red day only for women?  I understand that heart disease is the number one premature killer for women.  But heart disease also kills millions of men a year too.  Personally I’m sick of these discriminating remembrances.  Breast cancer doesn’t only kill women but women are the one’s that receive all the sympathy.

How about we start including everyone when we remember people by wearing pink ribbons, or wearing red on national red day.  I would never wish disease upon anyone, but disease happens to everyone and for the most part heart disease is preventable.

So wear red on national red day to show your support for women.  Or how about we wear red to remember everyone that has died or is suffering from heart disease on national red day?  Just a thought.

crimereports.com Reporting Crime in an area near you. www.crimereports.com

Crimereports.com is a new website that maps out crimes on Google Maps according to what the local police report in that area.

Crimereports is a great idea if all law enforcement were to use it.  I understand that www.crimereports.com is a new site but just looking up a few major cities returned the results. “Why isn’t there any crime data? Your local PD isn’t providing us any data. Ask them to join

You can join crimereports.com and get updates on crime to your cell phone or email.  I can see this service being very well received if crimereports can convince the local police departments to send out data regularly.

infodada.com Another Social Network Proxy. Info dada.com

Another website that acts as a proxy so you can view social networks or websites deemed not suitable for school or work is on the internet.  This one is called infodada.com.

I found infodada.com just another proxy website that is there to push Google ads and maybe a sponsor or even one of their own sites shaketube.com.  The website infodada.com did change my ip when I visited ipchicken.com.  But how many different proxies it serves is still a mystery.

Personally I still prefer www.proxy.org to www.infodada.com.  There is less clutter on proxy.org and I can select which proxy I would like to use.  You don’t have that option on infodada.

The site is relatively new so we’ll see how info dada does in the near future.  Looks like another site just to serve ads rather than actual service.

salaryexpert.com - Are you making enough in your area? Salary Expert knows.

A new website on the net will tell you if you are making enough.  SalaryExpert.com compares the salary in your area to how much you are making.  Think of rentometer.com but instead of rent it compares salaries.

www.salaryexpert.com has a free search on it’s website.  Salary Expert.com also has datasheets of over 12 million organizations.  You can find out quickly how you compare to the national average as well.

I took a look at mine and I sit fairly well in the national average regarding pay in my area of work.  Take a look for yourselves on SalaryExpert.  Who knows there might be a job that is paying higher right now that needs workers.

Hypster rising fast on the myspace music scene. Hypster.com

Hypster is a music sharing myspace and now facebook music sharing and playlist site.  Hypster.com just surpassed 200,000 users in January this year.  Not bad for a recently started website.

www.Hypster.comis very easy to use and very easy to navigate.  Hypster seems to only have 107 artists on file.  That to me is a problem.  I know much more than 107 artists and most that Hypster.com have listed are crap.

The Hypster website is advertisement laden.  They use adbrite to highlight words just to make .03 cents a click.  Which tells me they are more into making money on ads then in the quality of their site.

I hope that Hypster doesn’t have to bombard users with advertisements as they grow.  I know how hard it is for a young site to get started.  But after 200,000 users Hypster.com should be able to get rid of some of their in-line ads.  They are really annoying.

You can check Hypster out at www.hypster.com

Bistro MD - Doctor designed food delivered to your door. www.BistroMD.com

Gourmet Diet meals delivered right to your door.  Oh, and they are designed by a doctor.  That’s right, food isn’t prepared by chefs anymore they are prepared by doctors.  Well, at least at BistroMD.com they are.

BistroMD.com seems similar in so many ways to Weight Watchers.  But weightwatchers.com claims they aren’t a diet.  Bistro MD does.  The header of their page claims “Diet Delivery.”  Weight Watchers claims diets don’t work.  But the irony is Weight Watchers is a DIET!

The new doctor designed delivery food service offered by www.BistroMD.com.  Says all you do is have to heat it up and lose the weight.  I think Banquet needs to get a delivery service fast because I really can’t get enough TV dinners.  Since we are being honest here let’s call them what they are.  Bistro MD and Weight Watchers are glorified TV dinner delivery services.  The only difference between them and what you can get a grocery store?  Cheaper Prices at the grocery store.

But have fun and waste your money.  I’ll see you in the frozen food section soon.

Myspace.com wins Myspace.co.uk domain name. Tragic for Domainers.

It goes to show what a little bit of money can do.  Myspace.com won Myspace.co.uk even though Myspace.co.uk was registered a full six years before Myspace.com was founded.

Myspace didn’t need the .co.uk.  And the domain extension .com vs. co.uk isn’t confusing to visitors.  The person that had the domain registered wasn’t using the domain to fool people into typing their passwords or as a fake login page.  The only error that Myspace.co.uk had you ask?  They had advertisements that served Myspace.com ads.  The owner has no control over what ads are served when a domain is parked.  The parking provider will serve the most relevant ads to suit the domain; hence why they were serving ads for Myspace.

I have Christian ads serving on this site even though this is a blog about what people want and are searching for.  Does that mean this is a God site?  No.  I’ve tried blocking as many of the ads that I can but they still keep appearing just because I have the word GOD in my domain.

This domain should not have been awarded to Myspace.  Period.
