WTF? trianglemystery.com Triangle mystery and Doritos.

So I just saw an add for www.trianglemystery.com.  I have no idea what to do with Triangle mystery.  It is quite a mystery.

The Site trianglemystery.com is a flashed based site that flashes a bunch of numbers encased in a triangle.  There is a mystery to solving the triangle.  But I’m not even going to attempt this one.  I could just be to stoned right now to deal with flashing white trangles throwing numbers in random sequences at me.  If anyone figures out the secret or how to play.  Do feel free to post the answer to the trianglemystery.

The site is owned by:

Frito-Lay North America, Inc
        Domain Name Administrator
        7701 Legacy Drive - Mail Drop 3A-420
        Plano, TX 75024
        US

So that gives something to this mystery.  Doritos are triangles.  Frito own’s them.  Now the mystery?  A new date for another flavor of chips?  Eh…

Yahoo answers posters are some of the dumbest people alive.

So I’ve noticed a lot more in the search engine indexes for Yahoo answers.  These questions are a total waste of space in the search engines.  Yahoo Answers are really just another way for the search juggernaut Yahoo to make more revenue and sucker in more surfers through indexing these asinine questions in the SERPS.

I did a quick peek at Yahoo Answers after seeing much more being indexed to find out just what is going on in the Yahoo Answers department.

One of the first questions I read was:

Once you’ve had sex, how do you wait till youre (sic) married to have it again?”  This was posted by AmyHeart

Well AmyHeart.  The easy answer is you don’t friggin’ have sex.  That was simple now wasn’t it?

This question reminds me of that stupid MTV show now a syndicated radio talk show “Love Line.”  Where people would call in with stupid questions just to get their name on TV or on the Radio.

Yahoo Answers are full of these pointless questions being indexed by the search engines, both Google and Yahoo. Taking up more valuable space for people that need real answers to questions they have about life, love, and sex.

You can take a look at Yahoo Answers here: www.answers.yahoo.com.  Just take a look at all the idiots we have in the world and how much better off we would be without them wasting our precious resources while they live in cluelessness. Good thing oxygen is so plentiful.  Meanwhile you can enjoy a post asking if “Muslims is it a sin?”

Meanwhile it would be nice if Yahoo could just index sites properly.  No wonder everyone just uses Google.com.  To bad Google is now indexing these Questions and Answers from Yahoo.  Now we have to wade through this crap.

Scientology.org Google-Bombed to number 1 as “dangerous cult”

The anonymous hackers have their wish.  A few days ago the group was asking everyone to link scientology.org as “dangerous cult.”  To have the site come up in Google’s search engine as #1 when a surfer searches for “dangerous cult.”

This is only one of anonymous’ attacks against Scientology.  The group is calling for the total destruction of Scientology.  They have brought down several Scientology related websites using DDos attacks.  They have also released several videos on Youtube.com.

You can read more about the anonymous hackers and their attacks called, Project Chanology here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Chanology

Here is a picture of the Google Search and the link.

Google Lego Logo - Legos for Google a Perfect Match?

Google is celebrating the 50th anniversery of Legos in Google’s Legos Logo.  The Lego Logo follows a history of Google celebrating and changing their logos for various celebrations.

According to Google’s blogspot.  What could be more Google than legos?  The color scheme of Legos matches Googles own Blue, Red, Yellow, and Green.  And according to the site legos where also used to store the very first servers that Google was hosted on.

You can see the Google Lego Logo today by just going to www.google.com.

big beach balls are for faggots - Someone having fun with search and google trend?

There was a lot of searching going on for bigbeachballs.com this morning according to google trends.  Everything from bigbeachballs, www.bigbeachballs.com, to big beach balls.

Then at 9:50 Google trends updated and BAM.  “Big Beach Balls are for Faggots” appeared in the number one position on Google trends.

I looks like someone manipulated google trends somehow.  It would be interesting to find out who and how.

Here is a picture of the Google Trend.

Cnet got me thinking about com.com and the top websites. How many results?

After finding one of cnet’s landing pages in the search engine yesterday.  http://godtobe.com/2008/01/22/cnet-stealing-web-traffic-google-search-reveals-all/.  I’ve been thinking just how much are they raking in off of their com.com owned extension.

I can’t do an exact search but I thought I would at least look and see how many websites actually mistyped the domain names of some major websites in their own website.

First search was for “YouTube.com.com” Google results for YouTube.com.com were 114,000.

The second search was for “Myspace.com.com” The search results this time were 174,000.

Third search was for “Hi5.com.com” This time it was only 9,870.

Fourth was for “Facebook.com.com” This time only 1,270.

Note that I did all these searches in quotes.  Then I searched for the site without quotes and every time cnets com.com came up number one in the search results.  So not only is Cnet making money off of direct type-ins of trademark names like www.myspace.com.com  They are getting them when someone searches for the term on accident.  Not a bad deal for Cnet.  A very bad deal for the actual trademark holders as they are served ads from their competitors on cnet’s landing page.

So typos of say youtube.com got me thinking about utube.com.com how many results for that?  Not very many only 7. But Cnet has to be making bank of off other people’s trademarks.

Cnet stealing web traffic? Google search reveals all.

I did a post on the website infphoto.com and infgoff.com.  Things seemed ordinary.  Then I did a Google search on infgoff.com and what it revealed to me was amazing.  Cnet is leeching traffic from websites.

The Google search is here:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=infgoff.com

The last site on the page is Cnets.  They are using a company domain name and using their com.com owned domain to redirect traffic to their own landing page that is filled with advertisements.  Making money off of infgoff’s website.

Not happy with that.  I did a search for www.infgoff.com

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=www.infgoff.com&btnG=Search

Cnet’s redirect page is the fifth on down on this search.  Here is a picture of the search result:cnet.jpg

This can’t be the only site this is happening to.  How is Google allowing Cnet to get away with this.  I see a lawsuit in the future.

Jon Lajoie is back with Everyday Normal Guy 2

Jon Lajoie is back with another video.  Why this guy hasn’t been signed by Saturday Night Live or some other television show yet is beyond me.  One of the funniest comedians I have seen in a long time.

For those of you that haven’t seen the first “Everyday Normal Guy” here it is.  Warning this video contains adult language.
